I'm back with another DIY gift idea today.
This one is something any man would love to get,
a personalized metal tumbler.
First of all, if you're related to me
STOP reading this.
You may or may not be getting a gift like this! :)

The men in my life are some of the
hardest people to buy gifts for.
I'm sure that's the same for you too.
This gift idea would make
any man in your life happy!
A Personalized Metal Tumbler
These metal tumblers are the best!
They keep drinks cold or hot!
I used my silhouette to design
and cut a vinyl saying for the cup
to personalize it.
My cute nephew is huge
into baseball.
So I cut his name and an image of a baseball
that I got from the silhouette store.
I use inexpensive contact paper
as transfer tape.
After weeding the image,
(weeding means taking away all of the pieces around
the image you cut out)
lay the contact paper onto the vinyl word or image,
rub the contact paper to make the image adhere
and peel it off the backing.
Since the contact paper is clear,
you can see where you are applying the vinyl.
Lay it on top of the surface you are applying it to.
Use a pan scraper to rub the vinyl on the cup
to burnish it.
Then slowly peel off the contact paper.
That is such an awesome and easy gift!
I'll include some cold hard cash (probably a little more than $4)
in the cup for my college going nephew.
